Our MBA program is designed to equip you with the contemporary management knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a modern, global business environment. The MBA is truly a journey of personal and professional development and discovery. We aim to develop your interpersonal, communication, analytical and leadership skills in order to propel your career to the next level.
The ECU MBA can be tailored to meet your personal and / or career development needs. the course covers key business principles, with the option to specialise in subjects of particular interest or career relevance. Most units are available online to allow you to fit study around you career and personal commitments.
What makes PGSB different?
From the moment you commence studies with us, you’ll notice how much individual attention you receive. We encourage interaction and feedback from our students, with teaching staff available for one-on-one contact. Our faculty dedicated student information officers are readily available to assist you with general support requirements, such as assessment of prior learning, provision of course information and organising access to academic support.
Study in comfortable, modern, state-of-the-art facilities at Mount Lawley and Joondalup. Most postgraduate business course units are delivered at the Mount Lawley campus, within easy access of Perth city. Many course units are also available online.
Course content: Master of Business Administration
Students complete 8 core units, plus 4 elective units or an area of specialisation:
Core units (introduction to fundamental business principles):

- Leadership and Change Management
- Managing People for Performance
- Business strategy
Plus four units selected from:
- Business Economics
- Finance for Business Decisions
- Accounting for Managerial Decision Making
- Information System Challenges in Management
- Marketing Management
Plus four elective units or four units from an area of specialisation (equips students with knowledge and skills required to manage a specialist area):
- Advertising
- Enterprise Systems
- Event Management*

- Hospitality and Tourism*

- Information Systems
- Innovation and Enterprise
- International Business
- Marketing
- Professional Accounting
- Sport Management*
*unit set is available on Joondalup campus.
