Grenoble International Executive MBA Program (taught in English)
- Duration of the program: 16 intensive weeks during a two-year period
- Admission level: Motivated professionals with a minimum of 8 years of experience
- Resulting degree: Master
- Tuition fees: 38000 €
- Return/sessions: 29/06/2015
- Contact: Admissions - (+ 33) 4 56 80 66 50, email@example.com
The program is designed for you to continue working in your professional sphere while gaining new managerial skills and an internationally-recognized qualification, reflecting your ability and determination to reach senior levels of responsibility. It brings you together with other experienced and motivated management professionals in an international environment.
This program is based in Paris with some sessions taking place in Grenoble, London and Singapore.
1 - Strategic Managerial Analysis
Year 1: Analytical and Managerial Activity in Strategic Areas
These include Marketing and Finance from a strategic perspective, and Accounting focused on Control and Reporting Systems. The management of Operations is followed by Operational Risk assessment, analysis of what challenges can quickly arise for senior management. Competitiveness and Strategic analysis is developed during a study trip to Singapore and encounters with both public and private sector actors.
Year 2: Focus on Senior Management Activity and Issues.
The second phase opens with an integrative case to draw together the threads of year 1 from a general management perspective, before focusing on senior management responsibilities and how they can be met, for example International Negotiations, Conflict and Risk Management, plus Legal Issues. Ethics, CSR, Sustainability as well as Corporate Governance, all areas of increasing importance in Board Room exchanges, complete this phase. Pedagogically innovative approaches to learning are introduced here in the form of 'serious games' for decision-making.
2. Specialization: Leadership for corporate performance (elective)
The recommended specialization choice is comprised of the 3 modules: Leadership, Motivation and Talent Management, Change and Organizational Transformation and Innovation and Performance Measurement. This is for participants who aim to take on leadership roles of some breadth and go on to senior management activity. The sequence or modules considers the challenge of attracting and keeping talented employees, introducing and managing change within existing structures, and ensuring the effective management of innovation projects. These three modules are scheduled on the same dates as specializations offered to other MBA groups. This means that International Executive MBA students may choose to switch to a different track, such as the Finance, Marketing, Innovation Management, Luxury Brand Management, Leadership, Project Management, Marketing, International Business Development or Management Consulting.
3 - Projects Phase: The Group Case Project and the Personal Development Project
The Projects Phase
It includes both a group and an individual personal development project. They run throughout year two of the program:
The group case project: The competitiveness and cluster analysis project analyses competitiveness issues in a specific sector cluster.
The personal project: with both peer and tutor input enables students to analyze their past career path in order to define future options in relation to their skills and potential.
The program concludes with the presentation of the group case project and the submission of the individual personal development project.
