International MBA Program (Full-Time, English &/or Spanish, 13 months)

IE Business School's top-ranked full-time International MBA is designed for professionals looking to consolidate their management experience. Students come from many different backgrounds, creating a truly international experience, and allowing you to build a truly global network of contacts.

  • Profile: Professional graduates with 5.2 years of experience (on average)
  • Length: 1 year (13 months)
  • Intakes: April and November
  • Languages of instruction: English and Spanish (Bilingual)*
  • Admissions Period: Rolling Admissions Process. No deadlines
  • Campus: Madrid
  • Optional bilingual opportunity by taking the Core Period in Spanish and the Elective period in English or vice versa.

Global Executive MBA (Blended, 13 months)

IE Business School's Global Executive MBA is designed for experienced executives looking to add new erspectives to their already vast management knowledge. The part-time blended format means you can earn a top-ranked executive MBA without putting your career on hold.

  • Intake: June and November
  • Duration: 13 Months

Global MBA+ (12-15 months, English or Spanish, Various formats)

IE Business School’s Global MBA+ provides you with a host of personalization options. Students can choose from a range of formats, the language of study, as well as a specific area in which to specialize. IE’s Global MBA+ is a ground-breaking step towards a fully customizable MBA.

  • Format: Blended, face-to-face (part time) or a combination that suits you
  • Profile: Graduates with an average of 4.5 years of experience and an average age of 29, who have passed the IE admissions tests - ieGAT (or equivalent: GMAT or GRE)
  • Language: English, Spanish or Bilingual
  • Personalization: 8 specialized Modules to choose from
  • Duration: From 13 to 17 months, depending on the format and Module chosen

Executive MBA+ (12-16 months, English or Spanish, Various formats)

IE Business School’s Executive MBA+ is a new concept in Executive MBAs providing you with a host of personalization options. You can elect from a range of study formats as well as a variety of specialized areas on which to focus your studies, in addition to a choice of language of study.

  • Format: Blended, face-to-face (part time) or a combination that suits you best
  • Profile: Professionals with an average of 10 years experience, an average age of 35, and a minimum of 3 years experience in positions of responsibility
  • Language: English, Spanish or Bilingual
  • Personalization: 8 specialized Modules to choose from
  • Total program duration: From 11 to 17 months, depending on the format and Module chosen.
  • Application deadline: Rolling admissions process. No closing date

IE Brown Executive MBA (15 months English, Blended)

The IE Brown Executive MBA is a top-ranked part-time blended MBA that combines IE Business School's expertise in practice‐oriented management education with Brown University's excellence in the humanities, social sciences, engineering and life sciences.

Basic admissions criteria:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent (this requirement may be waived in some cases).
  • On average, 10 years’ work experience and a minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in a management position.

Application Deadlines

There are April and November intakes.

"IE Business School operates on a ROLLING ADMISSIONS PROCESS. As such, there is NO EXPLICIT DEADLINE for applications for a particular intake. However, given the limited number of places in the program and the diverse student body, we recommend that you initiate the application process as far in advance as possible, roughly one year in advance of the desired program intake. This is especially important if you plan on applying for a scholarship as only accepted students may apply for a scholarship."
