Nishitha Abdul Rahman

I graduated from the MBA programme at Imperial College Business School, London this May. I have consulting experience in a few industries such as Finance, IT and Healthcare. My last role as Strategy Consultant dealt with improving operational efficiency for NHS Central & North West London. This entailed the following:
• Managed a business improvement programme worth GBP 35 million to improve efficiencies by 20%
• Led the Service Model Transformation team and established standards using Lean techniques across the 5 constituent boroughs which resulted in time efficiencies of upto 40%
• Conducted strategic analysis including process audits and prepared the business case for the largest Service Line (Acute Mental Healthcare) which was approved by the Board of Directors and established as a standard for all service lines
I have also been a consultant for financial institutions like JP Morgan and Bank of America from a process and IT perspective. I am certified in Supply Chain Management & Logistics and trained in Six sigma, Lean and other Business Process Re-engineering concepts. I am also scheduled to give the CIMA Management level exams later this month.
