Highly experienced Operations/Project Manager with 17 years in the energy sector and a strong engineering background; able to successfully deliver major projects on time and to budget, experienced in leading teams and managing people, well developed analytical and communications skills and an excellent customer focus. Now seeking challenging opportunities in management consultancy.
Throughout my career, I have been working hand in hand with consultants in developing specific process improvement programs and IT solutions such as Entrepreneur Resource Program (ERP) using SAP. I also have some business development experience. Having had several posts throughout the utility company, I have dealt with project management, customer services and operational issues and I have specific knowledge of business process improvement, asset management, supply chain and incentives. I have also involved in developing procedures for ISO Quality Management System certification. I feel I have excellent communication skills; I regularly prepared written reports, briefed staff, communicated strategic plans and delivered presentations to stakeholders and senior managers. As Area Manager for Kuala Lumpur South, I successfully led 280 operational staff in delivering work objectives. As part of the management team I contributed to strategic goal setting and converted these goals into work plans for staff. I fully anticipate having a Post Study Work visa which gives me the right to work in the UK at the end of November.
