Pug Chester Ludlow
Pug Chester Ludlow has earned an MBA from Rochville University, an online institution offering "distance learning degrees based on life and career experience".
Chester is the mascot at GetEducated.com, a consumer watchdog for online degrees.
His owners bought the degree for US $499. Within a week of payment documents had been sent from Dubai stating that Chester had earned a GPA of 3.19. Apparently for another $100 he could “graduate with honors”.
According to Vicky Philips, owner of GetEducated.com, degree mills are a billion-dollar worldwide industry. Clearly one from which thousands of people as well as dogs can benefit.
