People choose to pursue an MBA for a number of reasons. For some, it's the knowledge aspect. For others it's the network or the means with which to change career path.

However, there are also a number of other reasons we don't mention in our admissions essays. Some people come looking for love, others just find it. And of course, there is always at least one couple that personifies the emblematic “MBA Couple.”

You met them at orientation, which is also when they met each other. They were both individually interesting and exciting people. You started to form valuable friendships with one or both of them but then- one day, “he” and “she” were gone and all that could be found was the “them.”

Who cares? It’s all about raging hormones and erotic couplings.

Commonly found?

In the back of the classroom, totally oblivious to the lecture going on. Or after-hours in the only dark corner of the bar/club/restaurant that’s hosting that night’s student social.

Married and fighting, wondering where all the magic of the “MBA period” has gone.
