Elite European b-school invests in industry expert to lead the world in Behavioural Science teaching

Warwick Business School have appointed Andrew Oswald as Pro Dean of Research and Professor of Behavioural Science. Professor Oswald is known for his iconoclastic ideas on the study of happiness and herd behaviour, and will set up a dedicated group to study the applications of human behaviour in business, the economy and finance – the first kind in the world.

Having served on the editorial board of the leading American scientific journal Science, professor Oswald says: “It is an interesting challenge to figure out why and where conventional economics went wrong.

“We have to change, Burying our heads in the intellectual sand and not budging will end in us all being drowned.”

Meanwhile in  France, HEC Paris officially launched a training program for more than 9,000 Togolese administrative officers designed by the professors of HEC Paris Executive Education called the “ATENS” program.

The program aims at developing a new culture of management and public administration within the administrative body of a state in Africa.
