There's something about Brazil at the moment, as the International Olympic Committee (IOC) handed Rio, the second largest city in Brazil, its 32rd Olympic Games in 2016: two years after the country is scheduled to host the FIFA World Cup.

Needless to say, there's a buzz in Brazilian communities around the world. Cleuber Martins, a Brazilian student studying international business at the University of East London, offers his take on the two big parties to come.
