Iqra University is a private higher education university in Pakistan with main campus located at Karachi, Sindh and campuses at Islamabad and Karachi. It was established in 1998 by the businessman Hunaid H. Lakhani.

Initially known as "Asian Management Institute", the institution was renamed later on to "Iqra university" on the request of the then governor of Sindh at the time of recognition from Sindh government.

Iqra University is ranked at 4th top business school of Pakistan after LUMS, IBA and SZABIST. In just one decade of its journey Iqra University has stood at the top business school of the country, which other business schools like IBA and SZABIST got after scores of years.

According to the Thompson ISI publication Iqra Univsersity published more research papers  than LUMS, IBA, SZABIST and other buiness schools.

Last but not least the faculty of Iqra University is highly qualifiied. Iqra University has most PhD qualified teachers than anyother business school in Pakistan.
