The Association of Business Schools (ABS) in conjunction with the University of Lincoln and Oxford Brookes University (and other members of the ABS Alumni Network) are delighted to announce that an event will be held on the 22nd February in London, where Max Clifford will speak to a select audience of business school alumni on the ‘Secrets of His Success’.
The audience will be made up of over 800 alumni from the following ABS members:
University of Lincoln, University of Exeter, Bath School of Management, Henley Business School, Strathclyde University, Birmingham City Business School, Kingston University Business School, University of Wales Institute Cardiff, University of Nottingham, Ashridge Business School, University of Westminster, University of Hull, University of Leicester, Oxford Brookes University, Queen Mary University London and the ifs School of Finance.
Collectively the group represents over half a million professionals.
Max Clifford was delighted to be asked to speak and said:
“I am pleased to be speaking to people who I'm reliably informed have got a tremendous amount of entrepreneurial talent. Hopefully when you start to make a fortune you'll come to me for PR, making me even more successful. The media can and often does play a very important part in the success of any business project; hopefully I can help to give you an insight into how this works”.
Vicky Robinson, Head of Marketing and Communications for the ABS added:
“We are planning to put on joint events and career enhancing activities at venues around the world to engage with UK HE alumni globally and promote and add value to the UK HE Business School experience. The events will be advertised to a total of 1/2 million professionals and will provide the opportunity for them to learn from experts in the field of business as well as to network with other business men and women”.
Elly Sample, Director of Marketing, Communications and Development for the University of Lincoln is the current Chair of the Network and is thrilled at these new developments and says:
“This is a significant step forward in Higher Education, as building strong university links will underpin success in the sector and we hope to expand the group and give all University Business Schools in the UK the opportunity to invite their alumni to future events and shared activities.”
Emerald Insight will be presenting Max with a donation towards his chosen charity CHASE (Christopher’s Children’s Hospice) and a copy of the History of UK Business and Management.
