Nyenrode Business Universiteit, Netherlands has offered a substantial scholarship amount of 1.3 million Euros for its upcoming academic year, 2011/12 applicable to its two full time flagship programs International MBA and MSc.
Nyenrode being the only private university in Netherlands bases generous amounts of donations from its alumnus and makes it available via many scholarships. In my view this makes it truly unique because it says a lot about the strong bonds between Nyenrode and its alumni. The current “Nyenrode 65 Scholarships Program” is also special in a sense that it is offering 65 different scholarships to mark its 65th anniversary.
The programs start in August and September 2011 and the 65 scholarships range in value from 10.000 Euro to 100% tuition fee scholarships.
Open for talented candidates from all over the world, the scholarship is broadly offered under below categories,
· Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Stewardship
· Academic Excellence
· Candidates in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Medicine) disciplines
· Financial or Marketing Management Talent
· Talent referrals by Schools, Corporates and Alumni
· Students with an international background
If you are a prospective student and is interested in going through a first-hand experience, you could do so by signing up for the upcoming “Campus Weekend Experience” on 20 & 21 May 2011 (where in Nyenrode will offer free flights for highly talented and motivated students).
