The ‘No Free Lunch Seminar Series’ provides broader community access to Columbia Business School faculty research. At each seminar, attended by invited MBA and PhD students, faculty members introduce their current research within an informal lunch setting.
These seminars are videotaped and made publicly available along with the associated research content, which can be accessed here.
The lectures focus on a wide-range of topics including:
-
Social Security cash flows, the discount rates that should be used to measure future cash flows, and the viability of certain measures to restore the Social Security balance
-
Dynamics of hedge funds and private equity firms
-
Management of sovereign wealth funds
-
Mortgage banks and the housing market
-
Short sales
-
Impact of economics on political development
Please note that videos will be accessible shortly after each event. Also, if you would like to use the videos on any website or blog, please include a link to the site here.
