Warwick Business School's LinkedIn group is administered by its External Relations Office. The team have just reported that its membership has achieved a stunning 10,000.
The 10,000th member is Rishma Ruparelia, who has just commenced studying for her MSc in Marketing & Strategy. She signed up to WBS LinkedIn because she was impressed with the knowledge of its members and the willingness to share information with others. "The group connects a thriving community of like-minded people," she said.
The WBS group is one of the largest online discussion groups owned by a European business school. It has an active discussion board with great quality and variety of content. Members include WBS students, staff and alumni from around the world, reflecting a wide range of professions and industry backgrounds.
Alison Bond, Head of External Relations, commented, "I'm delighted that we have reached this significant milestone. It is testimony to the strength of the WBS network. To help leverage our large WBS community, we've created a selection of professional subgroups within the WBS group. These subgroups are a place for you to post and find new job opportunities, participate in discussions, share news stories, market upcoming events, and network."
