2008 – 2010

Technology Analyst

Infosys Technologies , India

Collaborated with pre-sales team to prepare proposals and presentations highlighting the technical expertise and services offered by the BI-CoE to prospective customers earning a project worth US$3.4m from Bank of America.
Analysed and implemented innovative changes to the coding and testing practices which resulted in reduced manual effort and errors, earning a client satisfaction rating of 9.1 out of 10 for the project, making it within the top 3% at Infosys.
Project Management for building a retail banking data warehouse for Bank of America. Led an eleven member team for a year, working on simultaneous complex modules and successfully implemented them to achieve a 30 % faster availability of data to the bank analysts ensuring business continuity.
Lead Technology consultant for a project to create data marts and restructure the data to identify emerging business trends through effective data analysis and align technology resources to business operations.

2005 – 2008

Software Engineer

HSBC Global technology , India

Collaborated with human resources to recruit and create a good talent pool for a new project at the Hyderabad location of HSBC GLT. Mentored and trained the new recruits to set up a team with the required technical knowhow to execute the project.
Technology consulting for specific design and code changes to optimise the data processing technique reducing the overall processing time from 20 working days to five working days saving 180 hours of system resources.
Conducted application specific trainings and tool trainings for a Basel 2 project whilst building a team of two senior developers and three junior developers. Led the team from client location( Sheffield, UK ) as an onsite coordinator for a project that helped HSBC become the first bank to be Basel 2 compliant ahead of its competitors and three months before the actual deadline.
Organised and ran team building activities which helped build team spirit and increased team morale instilling a sense of camaraderie.

Headed training committee setting up training and re-designing training methods as a core member of Business Intelligence Centre of Excellence (BI-CoE) at Infosys. BI-CoE saved US$1.8m per annum for Infosys by cross training employees
'Outstanding team' award: Led a team of five developers from client location collaborating with different LoB’s for migrating 20% of the data warehouse to an optimized platform resulting in a robust and low maintenance application
