• Employed as an English teacher at the prestigious Anglo-American Centre in Italy (this is one of the biggest schools in the country, and one of the most successful with regards to international exams such as the Cambridge suite, TOEFL, IELTS, and so on).
• Teaching all levels of the Common European Framework A1-C2
• Teaching in-house with companies such as Tiscali or SkyItalia, in addition to the usual teaching workload.

• A Scottish company specialising in the vaccination of farmed fish against a number of diseases. Working primarily between Scotland and Norway, the company pioneered new techniques in vaccination.
• Worked as part of a vaccination programme, first as team member, then team leader.
• Co-ordinated with sites across Scotland, and also principally in Norway.
• Worked with a four-man team
• Liaised with individual sites and the head office in Scotland, carried out the programme of vaccination and ensured that the site owner/manager was satisfied with results.
