Chris MacDonald

Bio

I'm an educator, speaker, and consultant on ethics.

I received my MA and PhD in Philosophy from the University of British Columbia. Prior to moving to Ryerson University's Ted Rogers School of Management (in Toronto), I taught Ethics and Critical Thinking for over a decade in the Philosophy Department at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

I've published on a wide range of topics within Business Ethics, Professional Ethics, and the Ethics of Technology.

I am also co-author of Canada’s best-selling textbook on critical thinking, The Power of Critical Thinking.

I'm a Nonresident Senior Fellow at Duke University’s Kenan Institute for Ethics, and have been declared one of the “100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics” four years in a row. He also writes a popular blog on business ethics, which can be found at www.BusinessEthicsBlog.com
