British Army Staff Officer

• I am currently employed as the Chief of Staff/Executive Officer for the British Army Staff in the USA, based in the British Embassy, Washington DC. I am responsible for managing our footprint of approximately 100 staff (rank ranged from WO2 to Major General), spread across the USA. I am also responsible for managing liaison between the British and US Armies and for organising visits to the US by British General Officers and vice versa. Concurrently I am studying for a distance learning MBA with Imperial College, from which I expect to graduate in May 2014.

Intermediate Command and Staff Course Student

• Completed a 9 month long postgraduate level training and education course, from which I recieved the Chartered Management Institute Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Leadership and Management, and was recommended as suitable for the most demanding staff appointments in the Army/MOD.

Brigade Operations Officer

• Operations Officer for 12 Mechanized Brigade, at the time the largest brigade in the British Army, approximately 6500 personnel.

Regimental Operations Officer

• Operations Officer for 38 Engineer Regiment (500 personnel). My assignment included deployment to Afghanistan and on exercise in Kenya.
