Biography

Jeremy Short is a Jerry S. Rawls Professor in Management at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Short joined the faculty as an Associate Professor in 2006. He holds a Ph.D. from the College of Business Administration at Louisiana State University. His research interests are in the areas of strategic management, measuring and understanding the determinants of firm and new venture performance, and the management of health care organizations. Short has published in top academic journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Personnel Psychology, Organizational Research Methods, Health Care Management Review, Journal of Vocational Behavior, and Journal of Management Education. He has published a graphic novel textbook titled 'Atlas Black: Managing to Succeed', In addition, he co-wrote the first Harvard Business Case in graphic novel format. Dr. Short holds a B.B.A from the University of Texas-Arlington and M.B.A. from the University of North Texas.
