• Role included: handling clients for Kenyan subsidiary; Master Distributor management- training on use of POS machines, stock optimization, credit accounts; accounting function; coordination of reports with South African head office for monthly closure of accounts; setting up information management system; and stock management; Achievements: setting up of information management system allowed for smoother monthly end processes and better coordination with South African head office; mastered retail software within short period; extensive advice on management of cell-phone money transfer payments led to reduction of client complaints by 75%

Contract

• Role included: change of premises project of general practitioner’s clinic; debt management; HR management; advice on implementation of bespoke information management system; client relations Achievements: reduction of uncollected debt by 46% which led to better cash flow for the business; the design and implementation of staff management policy-resulting in higher job satisfaction due to clear expectations; improvement of information flow-reducing time wastage and improving client relations

Assistant Accountant

• Role entailed: managing accounts payable and receivable; being largely responsible for reconciliation accounts of marketing subsidiary (NETCO); annual stock take; official communication; support treasury department; monthly closure of accounts; Achievements: reduction of unreconciled book items by 73%; Mastered SAP accounting software in short period

Voluntary

• Full-time Missionary in Salt Lake City’s Historical Site and Visitor’s Centre with 250 missionaries from all over the world. This was a meaningful opportunity for me to develop myself personally. I had the opportunity to train and mentor several missionaries in various roles. As a District Leader, I was responsible for 9 missionaries from 6 different countries. During my time on the square, I was consistently recognized for my reliability, leadership and mentorship capabilities, as well as my ability to get along with the other sisters despite our cultural differences. Also spent 4 months in Birmingham, Alabama
