Velifin is a for profit wholesale non-bank financial institution with social aims based in Mexico City.
Managed Investor Relations: Researched prospective investors, created an investor database and assembled presentations.
Researched social impact metrics for social investments. Familiar with Equator Principles and UNPRI.
Brought 10 prospective deals to the company’s pipeline in just two weeks by directly seeking out and engaging with prospective financial institutions, gaining their trust and collecting relevant information, thereby fulfilling a key requirement from a large international investor, completing the due diligence process that earned Velifin a USD $3m equity investment.
Produced the necessary information and documents during several investors’ due diligence processes, one of which earned Velifin a long term loan facility of USD $24m from a US Government investment corporation.
Participated in several due diligence processes analysing financial and general company information, refining legal documents, and helping design financial structures to suit clients’ specific needs. One process resulted in the closing of a USD $3m loan with one of Mexico's largest NBFIs focused on SMEs.

Spearheaded the process reengineering of the SME department’s main bundle of products, reducing incidences of customer complaints by 30% and operation costs by 40%, while increasing sales dramatically.
Drafted and implemented an IT system to support CRM strategies which brought over 20,000 customers to the Bank.
Negotiated with other departments to improve customer satisfaction through innovation and cooperation.
Produced market analysis now published in the Bank’s Intranet and exploited by 1,200+ sales executives.
