Bio

My name is Mary Gab-Oyemike. I am presently an MBA student at Cranfield School of Management.

I am a highly dedicated, self driven and result orientated individual with six years working experience in the financial services Industry with strong focus on Relationship Management and Clients Service Delivery. I have strong influencing skills developed through clients’ relationship management and transactions negotiations with different clients- in the public and private sectors. I have a creative mind which thrives best in a high pressured, but challenging environment.

My time at Oceanic Bank saw me working in different multi-disciplinary teams, where I learnt the basic principles of team work and attitude required of a team player. At Zenith Bank Plc- a bank rated AA+ by Fitch Ratings, I achieved a sound record of effectively marketing financial products and generating new businesses, which lead to improved profitability growth in my department. On a personal note, I exceeded all performance and income generation metrics assigned to me.

My period at Cranfield School of Management has exposed me to current trends in the business world and contemporary management practices. The demands, healthy competition and collaborative spirit of the MBA programme have added an interesting dimension to my personality. Working in teams has also enhanced my team player skills and honed my enquiring mind. I have also had the rare opportunity of meeting people from diverse cultures and learning from their experiences as the world becomes more globalised.

These experiences I believe will be of utmost benefit to me and make me fit in seamlessly in a highly competitive environment and prepare me in a more unique way to assume more demanding management roles.

More importantly, I feel that my working in the capacity of an MBA intern in a global organisation as yours will provide me with the practical valuable experience I need to advance my career to the next level and will further harness my skills set in way that will be of maximum benefit to my future employer.
