About WBS

Warwick Business School (WBS) punches high; it's the largest part of the UK's established University of Warwick. Ranked 37th in the world by the Financial Times and 22nd by the Economist it's one of Europe's biggest schools and the first to achieve triple accreditation (AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS). They offer a comprehensive range of study options including full time, Executive, distance learning and global energy MBA programmes. Maximum flexibility allows students the choice of around 35 electives, some of which can be studied entirely online, abroad or through syndicate work.

The Warwick MBA is an accelerated programme focussed on personal as well as academic development, while their Executive programme allows students to balance work or family life with study. The distance learning course has been ranked 3rd in the world (EIU Which MBA? 2008), making it a top choice for those who decide to study remotely. But you won't feel all that remote: WBS ensures the course remains stimulating with regular face-to-face teaching and participation in local and virtual study groups. Their Global Energy MBA combines aspects of the MBA programme with a focus on the international energy industry.

The University is just a 70 minute train ride from London, and close to the cities of Coventry, Birmingham, Stratford and Warwick, so there's plenty of urban life nearby to entertain city lovers. However, despite this proximity, the school is positioned in the green belt of England providing a more rural feel and offering itself as a leading alternative to Oxford and Cambridge. The Mercer HR Cost of Living Survey found Warwick to be around 30 percent cheaper than the UK's capital.

Fabio: i have som friends studying bachelors degrees at warwick - is the business school connected with the undergrad uni or are they very separate?

MBA Programs at Warwick

The Warwick MBA is in one of the top one percent of business schools in the world, and was the first in the UK to gain accreditation from all the three major international management education bodies. This can also be studied as an Executive MBA programme which is a part time course completed within 3 years. Here, regular visits to the campus are combined with extensive pre-reading and post-module assignments.

What will be the complex mix of energy we will use in the future? How will regulation and politics affect investment and growth? The Global Energy MBA will face these questions and more providing a broader understanding of the global energy industry. This is an opportunity to combine interests in global energy with the management skills offered in the general MBA.

Warwick's Distance learning MBA is highly regarded with over 20 years experience, allowing students to study from anywhere in the world. Ideal if you travel regularly, or professional or personal commitments make it difficult to attend regular classes.
