Only 8% of US-origin GMAT examinees in 2016 were African-American. These US schools are fighting back against racial inequality in the business sphere

A 2016 report by the Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC) compounded the realization that African-American MBAs are severely underrepresented at business schools across the US. Of all US-origin GMAT examinees in that year, only 8% were African-American. The knock-on effect of that is that industry suffers further down the pipeline—a trickle of African-American MBA graduates account for just 3% of executive and senior-level positions within private industry. We've picked out these 5 US business schools that are making a real impact in boosting numbers of African-American students. This one's more story-based than metric-based. And that's not to say there aren't other schools out there doing great work too.
