  • Led a team of onsite consultants in Japan, with responsibility for the Design and Development of a Diesel Powertrain for the European market, achieving over 5% power increase and fuel economy improvement.
  • ▪ Responsible for analysis of test results and design report / drawing sign off.
  • ▪ Managed suppliers and lead-time planning to support prototype and launch phases.
  • ▪ Responsible for ensuring all project deliverables were met within budget and on time.

  • Working pre-program start, I had responsibility for the selection and implementation of technology for the Ford Econetic program, acheiving best in class fuel economy and CO2 emissions.
  • ▪ Led Engineering teams & chaired weekly review meetings to ensure project control.
  • ▪ Presented in high level management reviews to agree actions and overcome roadblocks.

Delphi Diesel Systems
  • Technical lead for a major German Automaker. Responsible for Diesel Fuel System design and validation using Solidworks design software, running both design and validation programs for product production volumes in excess of 1 million per annum.
  • ▪ Led a team of three engineers to respond to customer and quality driven design changes.
  • ▪ Managed Design and Failure Mode Analysis (DFMEA) to improve production line quality through design.

  • Opel / Millbrook joint validation project (interior systems), based in Rüsselsheim, Germany, managing the development and implementation of a new test facility.
  • ▪ Responsible for developing GM test procedures to ensure global standards.
  • ▪ Built strategic relations internationally within General Motors Europe.
  • Parallel to this assignment I took on responsibility for developing CAD capability within Millbrook. They now run systems I implemented to realise various project solutions and enhanced data sharing capability.
