Since finishing my MBA, I have been working as an Associate at the World Wide Web Foundation, headed by the founder of the Web, Tim Berners-Lee. In this capacity I am responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Foundation, including compiling, editing and drafting program materials and handling many aspects of financial management, and managing relationships with vendors and colleagues, both domestically and abroad. My general interests are administration, research, and project management with an emphasis on ICT and mobile technologies.
In addition, I consider the following some of my strengths:
Communication/Writing Skills: A significant portion of my professional experience has included drafting and editing website articles and contributing content for annual reports. Supporting an editor at Simon & Schuster Publishing, I was responsible for reading manuscripts and writing briefs for distribution to senior levels of management. At the Berkman Center, I was responsible for research assistance, grant compliance and reporting, tracking indicators and statistics and creating content for the stand-alone project website and weekly list serve announcement. I have also co-authored a case study on sustainable business practices that was selected for publication.
Research/Partnership Building Skills: During my tenure at the Berkman Center, I collaborated on research aimed at articulating a set of common principles and a compliance structure for a collaborative effort across human rights organizations, academic institutions, socially responsible investment firms, and information and communications technology (ICT) companies. At Design that Matters, I conducted outreach and prospect research for this non-profit that partners with social enterprises to create new products serving developing countries.
My educational, professional, and cultural experiences have been tremendously enriching, and given the opportunity, I look forward to discussing the contributions that I can offer.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for an interview or if you should have any questions.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
