  • Supervised the construction of Shell standard drilling locations for drilling of Oil and Gas wells routinely within budget and to company specification. Supervised a team of 10 highly trained Engineers to deliver the projects in a safe and timely manner.
  • Supervised the construction of primary and secondary field roads, helipads and airstrips for field operations. Managed project teams in excess of 50 workers at various stages of project construction. Projects were constructed to Shell's standard specifications and specified health, safety and environmental standards.
  • Prepared contract tenders and managed contract tendering processes with Joint Venture partners in the Nigerian Government agencies and other stakeholders.

Facilities Engineer

  • Successfully supervised a multiple-disciplinary team of Engineers to refurbish Crude storage tanks and other oil and gas processing facilities at Forcados Export terminal. This was to ensure continued integrity of these facilities and enhance their capacity to process,store and export crude oil.
  • Introduced the Electro-Optical Distance Ranging (EODR) method of crude storage tanks calibration in Shell companies in Nigeria. This saved costs on calibration of crude and process tanks and enabled tanks to be commissioned and put back to use much quicker.
  • Supervised repairs and installation of Glass Reinforcd Epoxy(GRE) and steel pipelines used for crude oil processing and exporting activities. This helped ensure uninterrupted crude oil treatment and export operations .
  • Routinely ensured statutory compliance of Oil and Gas facilities with Government regulations and Industry standards.
  • Supervised a team of highly trained Engineers on Oil and Gas facilities construction and maintenance projects to ensure uninterrupted operations and improved efficiency of these facilities.
