  • Conducted a competitive analysis of domestic retailers and examined the current retail environment to identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Constructed the optimal product mix, separated by brands and categories, to maximize contribution margins, while adhering to guidelines to recreate the Sephora retail experience.
  • Developed the comprehensive pricing strategy for their luxury and premium global product lines, including competitor prices, MSRP, and mapping to French, German, and Dutch Sephora prices.
  • Analyzed domestic brands and products based on accessibility and consumer needs, and recommended those which complemented the current portfolio.
  • Deliverables were completed ahead of time, and presented to the International & Development Managing Director and country and category managers.
2006 – 2010

Marketing Coordinator

Olympus NDT , United States of America
  • Designed and managed the annual advertising plan with over 50 print and web publications worldwide, in diverse industries such as oil and gas, aerospace, automotive, plastics, wind power, etc. Negotiated with media sales yearly and ad hoc to obtain the most effective advertising for the lowest rate. Sometimes sought and found alternative publications and mediums.
  • Created and maintained all cost-per-click eMarketing campaigns in Google, Yahoo, and Bing in over 18 languages. Acted as a liaison between international regional teams. Continually sought new forms of social media that would be appropriate platforms for our advertising, including YouTube, Twitter, and FaceBook.
  • Evaluated global company website statistics to ensure quality and consistency. Produced and disseminated region specific monthly reports on the status of our online campaigns to offices worldwide, as well as a comprehensive report to our corporate headquarters in Tokyo and our European headquarters in Paris.
  • Implemented a new distributor search portal, as the project leader of a global team of five. The project was completed ahead of schedule.
