More than half of CKGSB’s 10,000+ alumni are at the CEO or Chairman level and, together, their companies accounted for one sixth of China’s GDP in 2015.

CKGSB faculty have won more than 70 global academic awards and their research has provided the basis for nearly 400 case studies of both China-specific and global issues.

CKGSB students have served 120,000+ total hours in their local communities, raised ¥200 million for Sichuan earthquake relief in 2013, and helped to construct 745 libraries through the Red Scarf Children’s Library Project, which benefitted 260,000+ youngsters.

In 2014, CKGSB was the first Chinese business school to develop a philanthropy program aimed at equipping the school’s alumni with expertise on setting up and managing foundations and engaging in philanthropy.

CKGSB also partners with close to 40 leading institutions, including Harvard Kennedy School, Columbia Engineering, NYU and Singapore Management University.

CKGSB offers access to top-tier exchange programs including IE, IMD, CBS, Michigan, Cornell, Seoul National University and Waseda University

The school’s EMBA students—more than 80% of whom are above the Vice President level—are also required to complete six days of community work before receiving their degrees.

Established in Beijing in November 2002 with generous support from the Li Ka Shing Foundation, CKGSB is China’s first faculty-governed, non-profit, independent business school.
