Want to study finance in a city that’s soon to be a global financial hub? Here’s one more chance for you!

Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) has recently set up the Global Impact Scholarship, a merit-based award exclusively for international and Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan students.

The scholarship should encourage more international applicants and applicants from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan to apply to SAIF’s MBA and Master of Finance program, and is part of the institute’s effort to promote diversity on its campus.

The Global Impact Scholarship comes in two categories: the Laureate Award, which covers full tuition for one MBA and one Master in Finance student, and the Premium Award, which covers half of the tuition fees for two MBAs and four Master in Finance students.

In 2011, international students on the one-year Finance MBA program paid CNY188,000 (US$29,000) and students on the Master of Finance paid US$20,000 in tuition fees.
