The European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) will provide ‘two additional scholarships for excellent female candidates.’

Applicants with a GMAT score over 700 and a strong academic record at undergraduate level are encouraged to apply. The scholarship will cover 100% of tuition and fees.

When MBA rankings are published, the first column that students are unlikely to scan is the ‘percentage of female students.’ However a quick glance will show that ESMT can compete with the likes of CEIBS and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business on diversity. According to the FT's latest Global MBA rankings, 33% of  MBAs at Ceibs are female while 35% of the MBA cohort at Booth is comprised of women.

“We have 35% women in the current full-time MBA class, we are committed to further improving the gender diversity of our MBA, and are fully supported by our corporate founders in this ambition,” says Nick Barniville, director of MBA programs at ESMT.

To apply for the scholarships, the application to the full-time MBA must be submitted by August 1ST 2010. Applicants are also required to complete a short essay, stating why they should be considered for the scholarship.

The School’s commitment to diversity goes beyond gender with ESMT providing several generous scholarships to candidates from within and outside of Europe.
