Jason Wong, originally from Minnesota, recently moved to Amsterdam. There, he is patiently awaiting the start of the 2011 intake for Rotterdam School of Management’s MBA program.

Wong will be attending business school in the Netherlands.

When asked why he chose Rotterdam, Wong says, “I did a comparison... When I compared RSM with other schools in the Netherlands and the US, Rotterdam was the most internationally recognized and most established. It had more of the electives that I was interested in as well.”

Before starting his journey, Wong was living in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After getting a position with AT&T, and working there for several years, he left and moved to San Francisco.

“After mergers and changes in the company, AT&T wasn’t the place for me anymore,” says Wong.

In San Francisco, Wong became involved in the health and human services industry. Now after ten years of work experience, he is keen to go back to school.

Currently, he has narrowed the tracks he is interested in down to three: consulting, general management for a company in the tech field, and business development.

“In five years, I hope to be back in the US. Maybe Chicago, San Francisco, or Washington DC”

We wish him the best.
