What’s happening to BusinessBecause?
Big news from us! On March 10th 2026, BusinessBecause.com is moving to GMAC.com, the global hub for graduate business education created by GMAC (the Graduate Management Admission Council).
We know many of you have used BusinessBecause to research schools, compare programs, and hear real stories from MBA and business master’s students around the world. That mission isn’t changing—in fact, this move helps us do even more of it.
Why we’re moving to GMAC.com
On GMAC.com, our stories will sit alongside GMAC’s wider resources—from research on trends in business education to tools that help match you with programs that fit your goals. It means less time jumping between sites and more time focusing on what matters: choosing the right business school and career path for you.
What you’ll find on the new site
Once the move to GMAC.com is complete, you’ll find the kinds of content you know from BusinessBecause, plus expanded guidance, all in one place.
Stories to help you choose a business school and program, including program deep dives, rankings context, and student and alumni experiences.
Step-by-step advice on how to apply: admissions tips, test guidance, funding insights, and expert commentary from schools and industry.
Career content tailored to business master’s and MBA candidates, covering sectors, roles, salaries, and skills you’ll need after graduation.
Information about how GMAC’s tools and research can support you—from understanding the business school landscape with surveys and reports, to using digital platforms that personalize your school search.
Articles from BusinessBecause will be migrated, so you can still access all the useful info you need on GMAC.com.
If you follow us on TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram or Facebook, you will also see our BusinessBecause name and social media handles migrate to GMAC.
What’s not changing
The team behind BusinessBecause is still here, and we’ll keep producing student-focused content for business school applicants. You can expect the same standards of reporting, the same practical insight, and the same global outlook on MBA and business master’s education.
Our goal remains to help you work out whether grad school is right for you, decide where to apply, and understand how a business degree can shape your career. The move to GMAC.com simply gives us more tools and a bigger stage to do that.
MBA.com our sister site will remain live and your gateway to accessing GMAT registration—your best opportunity to showcase your readiness for business school.
What you need to do next
Nothing. You can continue to browse BusinessBecause.com as usual while we prepare the transition. We’ll redirect you to GMAC.com when the time comes.
If you already receive our newsletters or have a BusinessBecause account, you don’t need to re-register—we’ll guide you to relevant content on GMAC.com once the switch happens. Also, instead of the BusinessBecause newsletter, you’ll receive the Business Edit, which will share useful information and inspiration for you.
If you have questions about the change or can’t find a specific article after the move, you’ll be able to contact the team through GMAC.com and we’ll help you track it down.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and shaping BusinessBecause over the years. We’re excited to welcome you to our new home on GMAC.com and to keep supporting your business school journey every step of the way.
