The University of Massachusetts (UMass) Global has set up a new Online MBA program for professionals in India.

The program is tailored for early-to mid-career professionals but can also elevate senior professionals' managerial skills.

The Online MBA is aiming to foster cognitive skills and empower decision-making and critical thinking while instilling agile thinking across business and technical domains.

UMass also promises its participants advantages that align with in-person programs, such as alumni status and creating a robust network.

UMass Global's vice-chancellor Ricardo Lorenzana said: “We are thrilled to announce the launch of our MBA program in India, a testament to UMass Global’s commitment to providing world-class education on a global scale.”

The 18-month program, set to begin on February 19th, is priced at a fee of INR 3,32,000 ($4000). Its fully online format gives professionals the opportunity to upskill at their own pace and in their own environment.

Candidates applying for the program should have a bachelor’s degree with a 2.75 GPA or a valid master’s degree. The applicants have to be a citizen and resident of India.

Students will have to maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (overall grade of B) or higher to graduate from the 18-month online MBA program.

“This program reflects our dedication to preparing the next generation of business leaders with the skills and insights needed to thrive in today's dynamic and interconnected world,” the vice-chancellor added.
