An innovative new partnership between three highly prestigious European business schools will launch later this year, offering a unique new master's degree for ambitious professionals.

The Master in Management, Finance, and Tech brings together one leading program from each institution: the Master in Management from the Grande Ecole Program at emlyon business school, the MSc in Corporate Finance from London's Bayes Business School, and the First Level Specializing Master in Management, Finance and Tech from Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Management in Milan (POLIMI GSoM).

Set to begin in September 2024, the program will take place over two years.

What will the program offer?

The Master in Management, Finance, and Tech is designed to provide students with the most extensive program possible, covering all three subject areas. Students will acquire skills in management at emlyon, in fintech at POLIMI, and in corporate finance at Bayes Business School.

Announcing the program, Federico Frattini, dean of POLIMI Graduate School of Management, said: “Embracing the convergence of technology, finance, and management, this new Master represents a pivotal collaboration between emlyon business school, Bayes Business School and POLIMI Graduate School of Management.”

To set students up for success in the workplace, the curriculum will place particular emphasis on cutting-edge innovations in each industry, such as data analysis and cryptocurrency in finance.

“[The program] includes all aspects which are needed to be involved in a modern business or to pursue a successful career in finance,” added Andre Spicer, dean of Bayes Business School.

Learn across Europe

Taught in English across campuses in Lyon, Milan, and London, the program guarantees a unique international immersion.

For the same amount of time as a traditional Master in Management, students can expect to gain expansive industry knowledge, and intercultural skills to prepare them for international careers. Graduates will go on to earn credentials from all three institutions, and form part of a broad alumni network.

The participating schools feel each location will offer distinct enriching aspects to the student experience.

For example, according to Isabelle Huault, executive president and dean of emlyon business school, those keen to develop their knowledge in sustainable business practices will benefit from the culture of social responsibility at emlyon.

"The dimensions of openness to the world and knowledge hybridization are key for emlyon business school’s strategy, and helpful to face the mutations of our current economic and social challenges," she said.

In London, students will find themselves in the heart of one of the world’s financial centers, and in close proximity to the City of London and the entrepreneurial hub of Tech City.

Likewise, POLIMI GSoM’s campus in Italy’s main business center is an opportunity to be immersed in a people-focused entrepreneurial environment.

For students entering in 2024, the program costs €48,000. Applications for the program haven’t opened yet, but aspiring students can register their interest on the Bayes Business School website.
