Each year, GMAC offers the Talent and Opportunity Scholarship to 10 test takers, aiming to prepare them for the GMAT through study resources, financial assistance, and a variety of other benefits.
The winners of the 2025 scholarship have recently been announced, receiving a package of support valued at around $5,850 (€5,300).
The GMAT Talent and Opportunity Scholarship
Preparing for the GMAT is a rigorous task, with three different sections to study for, but scoring highly in the exam can be vastly beneficial to business school applicants.
There are a range of preparation resources available for those taking the GMAT, from past questions to practice exams. However, the GMAT Talent and Opportunity Scholarship offers further support, both to alleviate the financial burden that comes with taking the test and to provide additional study resources to its winners.
Although the scholarship is open to all, it particularly aims at making the exam more accessible, and applications from underrepresented backgrounds, including women, people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, and LGBTQ+ are encouraged.
This year, each winner will receive a bundle worth more than $5000. This includes a voucher to cover the cost of the exam, as well as a GMAT preparation course, an official practice exam bundle, and access to an admissions consultant. To combat the stress of preparing for and taking the GMAT, the scholarship also includes a 12-month subscription to Calm, the number-one ranked app for mediation and sleep.
