European business schools often focus on international business practices and case studies, giving students a global perspective—as well as offering non-native English speakers the chance to hone their language skills.
Many European MBAs last just 12 months, meaning lower total tuition fees and a quicker ROI than those offered in the US, where two-years is a typical MBA length. And, while living costs in major cities like Paris or London can be significant, there are many European cities where costs can be considerably lower than in other regions such as the US.
Tuition fee range for top MBAs in Europe
In total, 35 of the top 100 MBA programs ranked by the Financial Times are based in Europe. Their tuition fees range considerably according to factors such as location and school prestige.
A one-year MBA at Cambridge Judge Business School costs £74,000 (approx. €86,700). At London Business School, the 15 to 21-month program, ranked best in the UK by the FT, is £119,950 (approx. €140,500).
Elsewhere in Europe, a one-year MBA can be considerably more affordable. In Slovenia, the 24-month MBA at University of Ljubljana School of Economics and Business, for example, costs €24,900.
Meanwhile, the International MBA at Nova School of Business and Economics, based in Lisbon, Portugal, comes in at €39,500 and includes a one-month immersion at MIT Sloan.
So, there are options in Europe that cater for a wide array of aspiring MBA students, but which are the best MBAs in Europe when it comes to value for money?
Best MBAs in Europe for value for money
MBA applicants, of course, need to strike a balance between cost and quality. Lesser-known MBA programs without accreditation may be looked upon less favorably by prospective employers.

If you’re looking for an MBA in the €30,000 to €40,000 range, there are several European schools that boast triple accreditation for you to consider.
The MBA at Rome’s Luiss Business School costs €35,000 and offers students international-oriented activities and Global Business Challenges that connects them with other international schools to look at issues proposed by leading companies.
The two-year, €37,800 MBA at Aalto University School of Business, in Espoo, Finland can be studied daytime, evening, self-paced, or at the weekend.
Coming in just under €40,000 is IESEG School of Management, which offers an MBA taught in Paris. This program lets students choose from four different capstone specializations and is ranked third worldwide in Class & Faculty Diversity in the QS Global MBA Ranking 2025.
Moving further South, in Lyon, Emlyon Business School’s MBA costs €43,500 and is ranked fourth in France, 13th in Europe, and 44th globally in 2025 by the FT. This makes it the highest-ranked program within this list of the 11 most affordable triple-accredited MBAs in Europe.
At Mannheim Business School, located in Germany, the school reports that 95% of its students accept a job offer three months after graduating from its €45,000 MBA.
One of the programs charging the highest tuition within our list of the best European MBAs for value for money is Copenhagen Business School (CBS), a leading Danish institution which offers an MBA costing around €49,200. Students on the CBS MBA gain opportunities to learn within a culture rooted in responsible leadership and making a positive social impact, it placed placed 93rd in the FT ranking for 2025.
And finally, charging marginally higher fees is Essec Business School, in Paris, where the program costs €49,500. The customizable MBA at Essec offers students four career learning labs—Luxury, Finance, Consulting, and Product Management—and is ranked 47th in the FT’s MBA 2025 ranking.
