European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) was founded in 2002 aiming to be an international business school, based in Germany, with a distinct European focus. Three main themes are apparent in the course content and ethos at ESMT: Europe: Leadership and the Management of Technology.
With more than 25 corporate founders and benefactors (including big names such as BMW, Deutsche bank, McKinsey & Company and KPMG), ESMT offers their student body a range of work opportunities before and after graduation.
So what's it like to study at ESMT? Who best to explain than the students themselves:
"We spend most of our time either in our classroom on the second floors or in our group study rooms on the ground floor. Our classroom is unique! Its modernized interior contrasts with the view the famous Museum Island, located right in the heart of Berlin. From the large stylised windows, we behold the Berliner Dom, the Altes Museum and the iconic TV tower - an inspiring architecture to be enjoyed during our breaks. It is a shame we are not allowed to bring drinks to the class, or else we could just camp by the window and enjoy the landscape. When we are not in classes, we are mostly on the ground floor, where we have our group study rooms, lounge area with free drinks (coca-cola, coffee and chocolate) and fruits." MBA Blogs, Francisco.
