Vignesh, along with 2011 cohort classmates Basheer Shaik, Adam Cox, Sanjay Kaler and Matt Wilkinson, all met at Cranfield's campus and have grown the business to 17 employees across two continents.
They used the MBA programme to test-drive their product and after three years, the SME has gone from strength to strength. In just four months they began turning a profit and now sell to clients in the UK and the East Coast of the US.
The company is headquartered in East Sussex but operations are carried out in Tamil Nadu. Vignesh tells us why India gives the SME an economic advantage, how the company was founded and how Cranfield helped them take off.
What is the company size?
We currently have 17 employees.
Which sector does it operate in?
Ecommerce. We do web development and mobile apps, but we are focused on eCommerce as a domain. We pride ourselves on creating consistent experiences across all devices.
What does the business do and what are their core/flagship products?
We provide software solutions to global clients, including cloud computing, website design and mobile apps.
Who is the CEO/ founder?
I am the CEO but myself and Basheer had the opportunity to test-start the idea during an MBA project. But we were clear that we had to have multiple directors to get the best ideas from everyone around us, and three more MBAs from our cohort joined the business.
How was the company founded?
The idea came about during the Christmas holidays. I had lots of days to kill and nothing to do.
Our initial model was a business school project for a client that was trying to build a marketing solutions tool. We did this with the School of Management at Cranfield and they were really happy with the result, which proved the model worked in the UK.
Which regions are covered?
We mainly have clients from the UK and around 40 per cent from the US, and more towards the East Coast. We have clients form Colorado Springs and a few in New York, but most of our major clients are in and around London.
Number of current MBAs at the company?
Five Cranfield MBAs, in a Director capacity. We also have clients who are Cranfield MBAs.
Who to contact if interested in working for them?
We do projects with good quality students; we go to colleges and go to universities, test them out for a few months and find out if they can be a great addition to the team.
We’re also recruiting experienced candidates, more towards sales and marketing role.

Something interesting about the company in your own words!
We keep customers where they are and try to localize our business, to provide sustainability and efficiency.
We keep families together and happy by allowing them to work in their own towns, rather than many other jobs in India where people are being displaced to work.
That provides us an opportunity to create great value.
