Our on-campus Full-time MBA (FTMBA) program equips you with the business knowledge and real-world skills you need to launch and advance your career.
 
You'll work on cross-functional teams to complete projects and analyze real-life business cases. The curriculum offers a specialized consulting track and a myriad of electives, allowing you to customize your degree based on your interests. Our interdisciplinary approach prepares graduates to be successful in all aspects of business management. 
 
Participate in hands-on projects, go on company site visits, and attend networking events with Washington, D.C. business professionals.
 
The 49 credit program is typically completed in 21 months, with the majority of core courses taken in the first year. Students typically complete local or regional internships in the summer.

Founded in 1955, Kogod School of Business at American University is the oldest business school in Washington, DC with AACSB accreditation.

Kogod offers a full-time master's in business administration (FTMBA) program, as well as seven specialized master of science (MS) degrees in accounting, analytics, finance, marketing, sustainability management, real estate, and taxation.
