An online MBA program is a shrewd way to earn while you learn.

The average salary of an online MBA student three years after graduating is $132,119.

And because online MBA programs cost business schools less to run, and students often remain in full-time employment, the fees and opportunity cost tend to be lower than on campus-based courses.

The estimated average total tuition a student will pay on the top-20 ranked online MBAs is $59,000, according to BusinessBecause calculations.

Each year, the Financial Times releases a ranking of the world’s best business schools for studying an online MBA.

The FT’s Online MBA Ranking 2017 is based on surveys of business schools and their alumni who graduated from online MBA programs in 2013.

It places business schools according to the career progression of alumni, the quality of online learning, and diversity of students and faculty, among other measures.

We’ve taken that ranking and listed schools based on value for money, which implies the best return on investment.

Check out the top 16 schools below offering the greatest return on investment.
