The way we communicate has dramatically changed over the past few years. The traditional barriers between businesses and consumers have all but been eroded. In recent years we have seen a new type of consumer emerge. One of the companies born out of this digital boom is Mavens of London, an exciting young digital marketing agency focussed on online strategy and research.

Founded in 2009, Mavens are already boasting big name clients such as Citroen, Santander and Unilever. Mavens’ ranks have swelled year-on-year and the company has projects in almost every continent.

What's the company size?

Currently thirty or so full-time employees, but we've more than doubled in size every year for the last three years.

Which sector do you operate in?

Mostly digital marketing, but we stray outside of that area for other digital research projects from time to time. 

What does the business do and what are your core/ flagship products?

We do digital research, measurement and analysis. We apply our methods to looking at a brand's performance online and in social media, at how well their website works for them, and at how to make things better; all of which we do on both a strategic and tactical level.  

We don't have a flagship product as such; all of our work is bespoke, tailored research designed to meet a client's business needs and provide clear guidance on how to solve their problems.

Who is the CEO/ founder?

Ben Bose, our founder, has worked in almost every area of digital - including search engine optimisation, user experience, development, design, social media, content creation and strategy. 

How and when was the company founded?

Mavens was founded in 2009 to try and reshape the approach, methodologies and thinking behind digital marketing.

Which regions are covered? 

Current research projects cover markets from every continent except Antarctica.  Digital marketing is lost on penguins.

Number of current MBAs at the company?

Currently none, but we are looking to change that!

Our office-warming party involved jelly and explosives. We have more books than bookshelf space, and keep buying more books.
