The university provides an excellent selection of resources and facilities such as their online library which is exceptionally helpful in terms of exams and coursework. The lectures do an amazing job at delivering content and ensuring students are equipped with enough resources to succeed in exams and coursework. Student life is very pleasant, there are plenty of societies to join and meet new people which so far has been great. I currently enjoy my degree very much and find every aspect very interesting. In terms of what I don’t like, probably the fact that more study spaces may be beneficial. In terms of recommendations I would suggest offering more study spaces for students to study especially quite areas as it can get quite loud making it hard to study and possibly making the student union bigger to accommodate more people.

I would definitely recommend Aston University as attending here allows students to experience a great student life whilst also being on top of their work with the help of Aston and all the resources they have to offer. Aston do a great job at keeping in touch with their students and making sure everyone is up to date on any new notices or opportunities that arise.

Aston Business School shines as a public university with a rebellious spirit and a knack for social impact. Its diverse student body and strong programs in everything from engineering to social sciences make it a standout. On the flip side, overcrowded classes and budget cuts can frustrate students. Great for those who want a vibrant, activist-leaning college experience.

I think that my programme in terms of content and modules is amazing as I have a lot of resources that are available to me online and I like that previous recordings and exam papers are made available too using an easy-to-use platform. However, I'd say the downside is the on-campus experience. For example, when I first came to campus, I didn't know where anything was on campus and the guide given by University is quite faulty. Furthermore, despite studying a business course, I haven't even stepped in Aston Business School for a single seminar or lecture.

Aston Business School provides a great learning experience. Their MBA program is quite comprehensive with a balance of theoretical & practical learning and the program focuses heavily on your self development. I would highly reccommend joining the MBA at Aston Business School.

Overall, my experience at Aston has been positive so far. The University adapted well to the challenges of Covid-19 in ways that many others did not, providing clear structure and messaging regarding moving courses online during lockdowns, and now onto a "blended" approach. The lecturers are very knowledgeable in their subject areas, and several of my Economics lecturers have published textbooks or highly-regarded research pieces, which have also proved useful during the course. Student life is great, with a couple of pubs on campus and an overall nice environment with plenty of green space, football pitches and a new Students Union on site. The City Centre is also just minutes away, so everything you need is at your door.
